My office (Novi) and the assembly plant (Louisville) have a market place where you can buy snacks, sandwiches, salads, coffee, pop and other stuff... You pick your item and then scan and pay at the kiosk which is unmanned. Aka, a market place. My purchase was made in Louisville but showed up as Troy Mi like above.
I thought this was fraud too but it is not.
Had no idea what this was until reading here that someone found out it was small “pop up shop”: ok, not so much in my situation. Two small chargers were made on a Wednesday. I was a work all day on that Wednesday. Never left. Well, banks being banks, I realized the purchases were actually made on that Monday when I had jury duty. There was a little snack area in the middle of that floor for all of the hungry pre selected people waiting to be selected. That’s where the charges are from. Being hungry during my 5 hour “jury duty” where we all sat in an room waiting.

I recently had this pop up on my account. I totally freaked out. Then I remembered, I recently visited my company's corporate building and bought from their 'snacks cafe' on the first floor. That's what the charge was.
The general consensus seems to be that snack shops/vending machines tend to contain some derivative of this charge description.
Vending machine at the gym in my apartment complex, in Oceanside, California. I like everyone else here, freaked out and thought it was a fraudulent charge. Totally valid.
My bank statement shows a transaction amount of $ 22.81. I did not purchase anything nor did i authorize it.
This is a charge from an in-house "Cantina" that many businesses have installed in their lunch rooms. Mine was for a vending company called AVI. One can charge an amount to their account & either scan a snack card or use a fingerprint scanner to buy food/drink items till the account lacks sufficient funds to cover the expense..
This is for snacks at work, it's some machine and they are my purchases.
