What is it?

Lol. I just found out what this is. It's an air and vacuum machine you see from gas stations. Anywhere in the country will show on your bank statement as NY. This isn't a scam or fraud like I originally believed.

I too questioned this charge. As it turned out, I did use my credit card to pay for Air at a gas station for my tires. It was legit.

Something is definitely up with this company. I did use the pump outside of a Fred Meyer, but within a day after that, I started getting fraudulent charges all based out of New York (I am in Seattle). Didn't notice until Chase froze my card and they had racked up 13 transactions over $300 in 10 days.

People are either putting those skimmer devices on these pumps or the company got hacked or something, but there are multiple scenarios on here of people have similar expereinces.

CSC SERVICEWORKS, INC. 303 SUNNYSIDE BLVD STE 70 PLAINVIEW, NEW YORK, 11803

This is the company. They provide coin services all over the country. Took days to hunt down. Hope this helps everyone. And yes, they are frequently associated with fraud because of how many people h

Thief testing my debit card as authorization for $1.50. They also tried other stores. The place is not (I guess) a scam, but in my case, it was a thief with my card number. Shut it down. Not havin' it.

Thank you i have the same problem, this company charge $1,50 to my account, i get my debit card suspended for security reasons, i live in florida, and i see a charge from NY, i did not recognize, what was that, but with the coment of you about gas station air machine, i remember i used , i supose that that is the charge, the problem is with the origen of the charge and description on bill

My husband used these air pumps locally in AZ. Citi declined the transaction (probably because of fraud history) so he used his other card. USAA did not decline but notified us of fraud. Of course, since he did use the pump, we denied that it was fraud. The next day, multiple fraudulent charges appeared from Lyft and food delivery in NY. Now his Citi card is showing up with fraud.

I used an air machine outside a 7-11 here in Florida and within an hour the fraudulent charges started on my card. I have reported my card stolen and reported to 7-11 but they told me I'd have to contact Auto Air & Vaccuum Service at 1-800-247-8363. What good is it going to do to call the scammer??

It's a scam! Report it to your bank and the police. Sadly, because it's less than $2.00, they won't take it seriously, but clearly they have a list of stolen credit card numbers and are charging hundreds, maybe though sands of people before they shut it down. It happened to me on my Paypal Credit card. What kind of card did you use? I closed the account and reported it to Paypal. I also had another small bogus charge for Walgreens in Florida for $9.75. I live in California. I suspect those people probably bought the same credit card list. Paypal reimbursed me, but it bothers me that they won't prosecute, so it's up to all of us to report these to the FBI and as many other agencies as you can. They list them on the Internet. There have been so many hackings lately, but together we can make a difference. Get mad and make a difference! Thank you, Nancy

I reluctantly agreed to pay $1.50 for air because my tire was dangerously low. For some reason, a $3.00 charge appeared on my account. Avoid those air pumps if you can. The air pressure low and they don't work very well anyway.

My son used my card to pay for air at a local gas station. $1.75 charged by Auto Air and Vacuum Service. Within hours I received multiple fraudulent charges on my account. I saw the first two from BlueSnap and shut my card off immediately. The fraud department of my bank just called to investigate two additional charges that were attempted after my card was turned off, one in the $20 range from France and one for $0.00 from an international location. The Auto Air and Vacuum charge may be legit, but it seems there is a security issue somewhere in their system.

Wow, great. Had to look it up. I did have a nail in a tire and needed to get home. What I got from the gas station attendant was that this a United Way donation via their air machine. I saw in one of the posts that someone got multiple charges. I will be looking at my statement and watching it. Y'all are awesome for reporting this. Thanks for your help. :)

A little over a month after pumping air, I had 2 fraudulent charges at gas stations for nearly $100 each. Credit Card company notified me and canceled the card. I forgot to add in my previous post that we live in Florida, like many of the other victims on this blog.

Our employee had the $1.50 charge from this company show up on his card on Labor Day then had fraudulent charges for other items appear on his card immediately following. This was most likely a test charge by the person who stole the credit card number to verify that it is working before they went to make larger purchases on the card.

My card was charged 1.75 from this Air and Vac. Chase fraud team was on it! Stopped my card and called me right away. While i was on the phone with Chase they tried again to charge my card $50 at Mc Donalds in Kissimmee FL Apparently the crooks steal your card info and do a test for a dollar at a place where no one is looking...like a self service car wash. If it works, then they "go for it".

About one hour after I used my business debit card to get air at one of your air/vacuum machines, someone whose been traced back to the air/vacuuim machine first tried to hack my bank account then sign into my Square account using Firefox. But my Square people notified me of the attempted extraction of my funds. Square is in the process of tracking down the IP Address that was associated with the attack. Your company will be liable of any cost this incurs.

Yes, this is a charge for an automobile tire air and vacuum machine at a gas station. BUT, in some States, charging for Air and Water at a Gas Station is ILLEGAL... such as in California.

I had two charges of $3 show up on my bank statement. I did purchase air for my bike tires with my debit card and I don't remember how much the machine said that the air was. However, I certainly didn't purchase air twice. Thanks for all the great info. I will watch my account to check for fraudulent activity.

People are saying it to pump air or vacuum my car at gas stations. There is no way I spent 10.75 for gas or vacuum. I did get air but not 10 bucks worth! Something is up!

Noticed this charge and then a second charge in a clothing store in North Carolina. I live in Ohio. This was a tester charge before they went shopping. I cant recall using a pump outdoors for skimmer reasons and always go in for ATMs. I did use hotels.com for a reservation in NY and 30 minutes later these charges appeared. Jokes on them its a prepaid Visa that has minimal money and cant be overdrawn. Get a life thieves.

Definitely a fraud on my end, maybe not the company but they should figure this out. I have NEVER used anything but quarters at an air pump or for a vacuum, yet i get a charge to my card for something i have never used. I wouldnt believe most of these saying it is real, it is very easy to have bots write good reviews. This is a fishing attempt to see if the charge gets reported, if it doesnt they will start buying more exspensive things until they no longer can. Can we give these people 20-life if they get caught doing this? Noone ever gets in trouble for this so if they do there should be an example set

IT is a fraud. Just talked to my bank, no air service cost cards.

It is definitely a fraud, I never used any air pump and I am charged for it. I am in Canada, BC. luckily my bank stopped the transaction and blocked my card from further use and I have feeling that people in above posts telling people it is a legitimate charge are part of fraud team who keeps monitoring such posts and are posting here trying to make people believe it is a legitimate charge. NO AIR PUMPS charge money and if they do its coins not CARDS. be wary and report a fraud.

Can you help? What is this charge?
