CHASE CO ENTRY DESCR

I just check my account and I was charged $154 dollars from an Aspire CO ENTRY DESCR with out my permission. Check your account frequently so this won’t happen again.?

It's a Venmo charge

I just called Chase to report this $476.88 charge on our mortgage and household paying checking account. With our mortgage payment coming out soon I check this account frequently. This company (ORIG CO NAME:DIR ENERGY 0589 CO ENTRY DESCR:EDI PAYMNT SEC:CCD IND ID:IL040000065386 ORIG ID:1364402779) show up today with no authorization from myself or anyone else associated with the account. Calling Chase took care of the problem but having to go to our branch office and closing the account and opening a new account is a pain. Wish I knew how this fraudulent charge got our account information. Will be aware everyone. There are bad people out there lurking in the shadows so be vigilant. Tim
