We took a taxi while in Las Vegas from the Airport to our hotel downtown. We were told before entering the taxi that it was a flat rate to go downtown. First of all - we've been to Las Vegas numerous times and noticed that our taxi driver was taking a round about way of getting us to our hotel - but didn't care because the fare was a flat rate. Well, When we arrived at our destination, the taxi driver - Neody Sengvixay - told us our fare was $50.80 - what??? - so we asked about the flat rate and he was very rude and said going downtown does not include the flat rate - as we were told before entering his cab. So although we try to support local taxi drivers - never again - we'll take an UBER.
