What is it?

DLX is an abbreviation for Deluxe, a company that works with banks (i.e. Citizens Bank) in providing checks, deposit slips, and the like. This charge should appear on a bank statement if an order has been placed through Deluxe and the amount charged has been ok'd to be automatically withdrawn from that bank account.

Scammers Liars and Thieves

As far as I know, this is basically a third party that banks order your checks through? They are a real company, still unsure why the company you order your checks through wouldn't let you know the charge will be from a third party provider but nonetheless, it seems legit.

Similar to the posts on 03/10/2015 & 08/06/2017, we discovered that the charge for "DLX for Business" was due to a recent order for business checks.

Fraudulent Charge!!!

This is a fraudulent charge. Mine was for a very low amount. Perhaps it was a "ping" before the fraudsters take out a larger amount of money. The exact text on the charge was "SIGNED PURCHASE DLX FOR SMALLBUSINESS POS".

After I ordered checks from Bradford Exchange, which I paid for using a credit card, this appeared on my bank statement:

08/14/2017
Electronic Withdrawal Dlx For Business $71.61

It looks like Dix for Business stole my bank routing number and took a random amount out of it. I have no other explanation for this.

Can you help? What is this charge?
