They may also act as a payment processor, in which case the "FS *mumble" format is like that of PayPal, GoFundMe, Square, etc. where the part after the asterisk identifies the actual vendor. If you call 877-327-8914, they explain who they are and provide transaction detail on request.

There is a recurring charge on my Wells Fargo Visa card every month in the amount of $4.20. This was supposed to be for some computer protection that I do not need as I have AVG for that protection. I wish that this be removed and not charged to my card any longer. I am not giving my card number on here, but if necessary, you may call me at 713-823-4786

I noticed a $21.67 monthly charge going back to April 2021 at least. I contacted my bank and cancelled the card. Been researching online and I believe it is fraud through pay-pal. Can I prove it? Probably not, but when I called the number posted at the top of this page I was directed to a website. I was supposed to enter my account number. For what? No person. Such a small amount and it was close to the $21.68 a month for PHILO TV. I just happened to see the two amounts a couple of days apart. Some sort of Indian software company? I think law enforcement was looking into this scam. I notified pay-pal and removed all my bank info. When I send money on pay-pay now I used a prepaid card for the amount.

I initially signed up with this company in May then found out they were a sister company to one that I had just canceled (AVG/AVAST) due to system problems due to their software. The charge was supposed to be $21.95. I tried to cancel with them and filed a dispute with Discover and the charge was reversed. The software disappeared from my computer but they entered another charge in June. What can I do to stop this charge from occurring every month.
