Payment processor for payment card purchases for the marijuana industry

I was also confused by this charge (GIVV KIOSK GIFT CARDS, WTF?), but found out is is for a neighborhood cannabis shop I'd purchased a few things from.

Its a legit charge, i used my cc at a weed shop in sf.

I called the phone number on my credit card statement and found out this company processes credit card charges for marijuana dispensaries. It is legitimate!

If you have purchased marijuana anywhere on the west coast that is what this charge is for...Not fraudulent at all

Cannabis Dispensary. Since they are all cash businesses, you have to "load a gift card' and that's how they get around not using credit cards to buy weed. Totally legit charge.

This is legitimate - see what others have said about it being used mostly for dispensaries that cannot take credit cards - it like buying a gift card for that place -- all is good (at least for me)

This came up on my card transaction history as "Givv Gift Card Dbt Purchase... Walnut Creek" and I live in San Diego so I immediately thought it was fraudulent. However, after reading through some of the comments I remembered that my boyfriend and I ordered some edibles from a cannabis dispensary recently soooo... mystery solved!

I was charged 103$ my card company is investigating for fraud ! I am on other side of US was used in California !

This came up on my credit card as GIVV KIOSK GIFT CARDS 6194153413CA. I called my credit card company and it says it was an online transaction for a novelty shop in California. I have frozen my credit card and they are investigating the charges.
