What is it?

Airport misc. store (magazines, candy, etc.) in Philadelphia International Airport. See http://www.theparadiesshops.com/

i was at the airport browsing, when i got home i had a charge for $25.67 on October 2nd for paradies store. my credit card company says my card was used chip and pin, however, my card was not used and in the usa, you don't use a pin when you have a chip. how can this be? i have my card, which has since been closed and a new one given. how did this happen? i was travelling home back to the UK. i didn't buy anything, and i had cash and if i was going to buy anything i would have used cash, and there was nothing in the store to spend that much. it sounds unbelievable to me. they say chip cards are safe, obviously not, if your store processed it, and it was in my purse in my carry on, zipped up, under my arm.....???

Can you help? What is this charge?
