I ordered a hoodie and shirt from a company called, Be United With Us (https://beunitedwithus.com/ - claiming to support veterans- right before Christmas. This was from an ad that popped up on FACEBOOK. The products I received were not to size and were terrible quality. That was bad enough. In January, I received a charge of $39.99 from "Global Primeshop". After digging a little I found out that it was due to a box that was automatically checked for a recurring charge for "VIP Rewards" when I ordered from "Beunitedwithus.com". Of course, I was not aware of that auto checked box. When I was able to get ahold of someone with "Global Prime shop", they were happy to cancel this recurring charge and refund my money. Here is their email to me: "Hello D*****, Meryl here from globalprimeshop.com Customer Service. Thanks for reaching out and bringing this to our attention.
The charge on your account was from the VIP Rewards subscription you agreed to when purchasing the Hard Days and Be Kind Hoodie from our sister company, beunitedwithus.com.
As a VIP Rewards member, you are entitled to the following benefits: 1. Access to low-priced products and accessories 2. 50% OFF ALL future purchases & access to ALL VIP Rewards® products discounted up to 80% OFF (some products are even FREE, with shipping charges only).

My response to them was simply "thank you for cancelling the recurring charge of $39.99".
Today, 2/7/25, I received a fraud alert from my bank notifying me that a suspicious charge of $39.98 was declined because of the suspicion. Before cancelling my card, I looked into it and found that the charge was from "PAY RECOVER" out of Joliet, IL. I called them and they let me know that they were a third-party company for "beunitedwithus.com" used to collect subscription money. They gave me the phone number for "beunitedwithus.com" and the email address: 1-888-884-6172, support@beunitedwithus.com. Though it took me a couple of tries, I got through to a person named "Len" who, again, was happy to cancel the subscription. I told them I wanted an email confirming the cancelled subscription and will not charge me going forward. She did send me this email: "Hi D*****,
This is Len from Customer Support Team at beunitedwithus.com
As per request, I have successfully canceled your VIP Rewards subscription. Rest assured that it will not renew and you will not be charged moving forward.
Please confirm receipt of this message so I can ensure your issue is resolved or assist you further if needed.
Best Regards, Len
