I had this same thing happen to me. Go to Account information - Wallet - Transaction History to view the charge. Then, in Wallet, go down to Purchase Settings and see if "Fund Wallet Automatically" has a yes by it. This is most likely the case as the playstation will automatically take out $17.99 every 3 months to update your playstation plus membership. You can change this by selecting No.
