I have confirmed with Google Customer Service that this is/was a fraudulent charge against Google via PayPal. I received two charges, once in Oct and once in Nov, both for the same amount, like a recurring payment. Beware.

At first I thought this was a fraudulent charge on my Visa statement because I had not purchased any new apps. But once I traced back through my email looking for activity on the date of the Visa transaction in question, I found a PayPal confirmation email reminding me that I upgraded my Google Drive storage to 100 GB for $19.99 in one annual payment. Otherwise, the 100 GB plan is $1.99/month.

I had this exact same charge listed, it was non-fraudulent, I just forgot I made the charge after looking back on my bank account's posted transactions a month later.

On my phone I can go to play store -> click on profile icon -> budget & history, and it shows me what the charge was for.

I was making the payment via pay pal to Google....I have no idea why. $9.99 the last three months, and a $50 payment last July. Anyway, in Pay Pal you can select to see more information of the charge by hitting the down arrow...then select Google and set payment to inactive.

I never authorized this, someone used my phone number and I have been paying this monthly for over a year because Google will not remove it. I will be contesting this with my bank as well. I want this removed immediately.

It was an e-book I ordered from Google. (Go to your PayPal activity on that date and you'll see what the charge was for.)
