It is a fraudulent charge you are asked to make after purchasing collision protection as part of the total cost of car rental through Priceline. You receive a bogus error message indicating that the collision coverage payment didn't go through. You are prompted to retry payment and, thus, provide the fraudsters with your debit or credit card details, including the expiration date and 3-digit code. Priceline will not help you fight the charge. They will tell you it has nothing to do with their company.
