This happened to my saving account 5 days ago. I noticed 2 different deposits from "Challenges Simple 9554 Russell Daniel". One for .90 and one for .58. I never ever give my savings account number to anybody so I immediately called BB&T's fraud department. They let me make the transfer I needed then closed the account. The gentleman said ," we did that at a good time because there is a pending withdrawal for $1.47 from this same person". Just now, I went online and saw the same thing happening in my checking account. ( BB&T) 2 small deposits the 4 numbers were different but the same name is being used. They had to close my account so now I have to take time to go to the bank tomorrow and open a new one, wait for a new debit card, and deal with all my online payments to the electric company etc. Merry Christmas.
