I said yes to a "promotional" magazine offer when making a purchase in-store at Hastings Entertainment. They use the debit/credit card you pay with for that purchase to auto-renew your "free" magazine subscription and the 3rd party fulfillment center makes this charge against your account Tmehsr71ksimag855-227-0750ny. Renewal times are sketchy though; my original charge was in April - but they dinged my account $24.50 on 12/18, so not six months or a year, but about 8 months. I am ok keeping my Sports Illustrated subscription so I didn't fight the charge, but some notice would've been nice so we don't see random charges and have to spend 20 minutes figuring out what they are. The phone number was an automated system but was clear and easy to use to get all the info I needed and I'm satisfied this is cleared up.
