I also recently had 3 fraudulent charges from a WM Supercenter here in Louisiana. I checked my bank account for the most recent Wal-Mart swipe I made (whcih was 3 months prior to the the fraudulent charges) and it showed up as 'Wal-Mart Super' followed by the stores 4 digit number. Walmart charges show up as Wal-Mart not NOT WM SUPERCENTER.

i got a charge for 389.58 on my debit card,my bank call and put a hold on my card.i did not make this purchase,on my statement it reads eft pos walmart.co 011623

I purchased a phone card from Walmart Which authorized them to withdraw the money from my account on that account which came for my bank they fraudulently start taking out money in increments of $14.99 where in this world does a company well known as Walmart allows your customers to come in and purchase their products and at the same time be frauded by using their own credit card I will not return to Walmart and use my card there deal where Walmart is no longer Walmart

2 fraudulent authorisations of around $230 charged to the card. Fortunately my bank picked them up as suspicious and has frozen the card. Interestingly the date on the transactions was March 20. "from the future"

so i got a charge on my card for 49.95 from WM.com Bentonville, AR. I fully understand the Walmart is out of Bentonville AR,However, what i am not understanding is how is Walmart using WM.com, when that already belongs to Waste Management? I had the charge declined and had my credit card locked and changed. I also called Waste Management asking why they are charging me. Waste Management was nice enough to explain this is Walmart.. but agin, how can you use another business' website to charge customers???

WM SUPERCENTER # 109825849 3 charges on my card that drained my account. This is a fraudulent vendor. Either a crook is masquerading as WM supercenter or a walmart employee somewhere is committing fraud using walmart systems.

Are these fraudulent txns sent over to WM for investigation?

WM supercenter #4171# in Garden Grove I check try to find recipe can't find and don't know what is WM supercenter charge me $45.35 scare me I though my credited card been click keep ck final I go online search then I remenber that from Walmart in Garden Grove.ca that ok but I agreed with some one been charge with credit card that so easy to use credit cart Walmart not ask For ID of customer I think Walmart shout do that and ck 3 number in back cart if not owner person can't get throut .

Alright nerds, listen up. Have you ever swiped your card somewhere and it asks you to choose between "VISA DEBIT" or "US DEBIT"? That's why some walmart charges show up under a different name than other walmart charges. It's being charged as a different type of credit or debit. They're not fake charges, someone just jacked your card and went on a shopping spree at Wally World.

3 charges come to my credit card (2 charges for $105.64 and 1 charge for $36.37). I have not been in a WalMart in MONTHS. I have cancelled my credit card and now am filing a claim.

WAL-MART STORES, INC WM SUPERCENTER #3201

I live in Arlington, VA. I looked up store number 3201 and it is in NOT in VA according to my research.

july 19 2014 my credit card was stolen and the person who stole it used it 3 times wm supercenter store number #2098 rang up $64.80,and again at a wall-wart stores,inc spend $75.60 and again at wal mart inc spend $187.08 I stop the card and there is a police report

There is a 174.77 charge on our bank card , which is unexplained. This charge is also for the exact amount we had left in our account. The bank statement says the charge was made to wm super center #.

WM supercenter #2769 charge of $244.17 (my remaining balance) was charged today. The store is located in San Antonio TX. And since I live at Fort Bragg NC and was training in a northern state the past 2 weeks, I don't think it was me. Also I haven't been to Texas in over 15 years. There is also a $3.50 Coca Cola Austin TX charge. (yes spelled as such). I think that may have been a test charge.

I got three charges to WM SUPERCENTER #2038, only the first got through. It's not clear why the fraudsters are visiting Walmart - or if they are just generating charges that appear to be from Walmart - but if a physical Walmart is allowing charges without using the chip in the card then that could explain it. I believe "carders" will take your card number and expiration date (info leaked from a database somewhere you made a purchase, or from a skimmer at a gas station, a corrupt employee at a restaurant, or wherever) and create a fake copy of your card. It won't have the chip functionality, but anywhere they can swipe (instead of insert - which requires the chip) they can use your card. They'd make online purchases except for the fact the fraud can be detected and it takes a while for the shipment to arrive...so they hit up a physical store and by the time they're detected they're already at home with the merchandise which they then turn around and sell on eBay or craigslist for 30% off. This is how they turn the fraud into money. And the guys that make the cards hand them to women in their 20s and 30s to do all the actual shopping - they'll go out with a handful of cards and shop all day putting a few charges on each. At least that's how it was done, when I read about it a year or two ago....
