gofundme! With your help, I remembered I had donated to a friend's cause! Woops. It's a legitimate charge. Thanks for helping me brainstorm everyone!

My ATM card was recently declined on a purchase, so I went home to check my account. A $5 charge to WEPAY was a pending transaction. I went to my bank to dispute the charge, and found that the bank had been rejecting all sorts of charges on my debit card in the last 24 hours. The WEPAY charge was the first, then charges for 6 other fraudulent purchases followed. I canceled my ATM card and was issued a new one. Anyone with a WEPAY charge should immediately cancel your debit card to prevent more hassles.

My cc provider contacted me regarding suspicious charges to Wepay in the amounts of $180 and $580. I've never made any donations and chalk this up to another case of someone using this site to funnel money from stolen card numbers. Sad.

Last night WePay attempted to charge me over a dozen times for amounts between $5.00 and $300.00. I reported this to WePay on their website but have not received any communication from them. My bank fraud dept. has blocked all but one of the charges automatically and will reverse the one charge that cleared. It seems that WePay is a credit card payment processor so I believe it's not that WePay is trying to steal, but that someone is using them as a payment processor and trying to steal with stolen credit cards.

We also donated to a funeral. A couple days later, the funeral charge showed up, but then there was a different charge using the same WePay service for another amount. This WePay services does not seem secure at all. It seems that someone has stolen our credit card information from this website and is now using it to try to process other charges using the WePay service. I cannot confirm this is accurate yet, but this is how it appears right now. Still investigating.

I cancelled my card before realizing I had donated money to a friends fundraiser at gofundme.com this was the company that billed me. It was a few days later that's what threw me off

WEPAY PALO ALTO CA showed up on my bank statement and deducted $200 from my account. You guys helped me so much to figure out that it was definitely a GO FUND ME charge.

My friend who is a nurse practitioner was just diagnosed with a brain tumor that needs immediate surgery and another friend stated started this fundraiser to assist.

I was so mad when i saw the charge and started to accuse my son. Thank you guys for your help.

WPY Crowdrise and WePay are by the same guy...Phillip Parker. I have fraudulent charges by a guy named Francis Michael all over my stolen credit card....gives a Miami Fl address that is a home listed on Zillow. I'm sure the names are false too. I have reported all way to FBI..I'm tired of thieves sitting behind their computers and stealing my money. I have reported to the Texas Rangers and the FBI as this is a money theft ring...my credit card was from Capitol One Visa...be ware of all these companies. I have reported, reported, reported. No has Emails that work, so I can't even verifiy the charges except what I screen shot off my stolen card login. I am tired of getting charges for this fraudulent company and WePay....they are run by the same guy.
