What is it?

Someone has charged 229.94 at this Ohio Kohls. I am from Washington State and I have never done business with this store!

I received a message from my PayPal account that I charged 32.76 at WWW.KOHLS.COM#0873 on Feb 13.2023 I did not purchase anything from them! The charge is already on my credit card

Purchased some clothes online at Kohls. I was charged the regular amount on my credit card, but their was an additional charge of $38.78. I copy pasted the charge 866-887-8884 , OH online and so other complaints. Would not continue my business with Kohls. Currently contacting my bank to get this issue resolves.

I purchased items on the kohl’s.com website & was charged $45.34 but as soon as I hit pay the whole transaction disappeared. I immediately called the customer service and they told me that the have no knowledge of any transactions from me . This is a scam do not purchase from them

I called kohl’s customer service back & got a different representative & she was very helpful & found my order . I now have a different opinion about them . My apologies for any confusion

I live in Central Canada and received a message from my bank stating there had been attempts on my card for this "store". Over two days two charges went through (one was refunded) and another attempt was made 4x for over $900 USD. I called the 866-887-8884 and she "transferred me to the correct department" and I got the screech of a fax machine. My bank will be investigating and reimbursing me plus issuing me a new card. I will be calling the Kohl's corporate head office so they are aware.

Another Kohls.com fraudulent charge as of April 2018.

Either people who scam card numbers like to shop at Kohls a lot, or something is going on at Kohls itself.

I'm not buying Brandon's 03/04/17 comment, as the the fraudulent charge not only says "Kohls.com" and "OH", but also lists store #0873, which is a specific store in Middleton, OH, as verified by my credit card company. Kohls headquarters is NOT in Ohio and there is no evidence I can find which indicates their on-line orders are processed through store #0873, so there is no reason to believe Kohls.com charges are all associated with Ohio store #0873.

Interestingly, the card I got charged on is one I only use for on-line purchases and almost exclusively either for Amazon or PayPal (i.e., I don't as a rule (a very strong rule) use this card for on-line purchases unless it's at Amazon or through PayPal.

This seems like a long-running scam which the credit card companies don't seem interested enough in investigating to actually shut down.

I received a charge on my Discover card On August 18, 2021 for the amount $106.99, at the Kohls in Middletown, Ohio. I live in Nebraska and I DID NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE, THIS IS A FRAUD!

I just got charged on my visa card $95.76! I am so mad!! who got my card number? working with my bank to find these mo fo's!!!!! The police have been notified...they will find you.....hope you rot in HELL....evil person!

My bank card is showing an authorized charged to www.kohls.com #0873 for $35 I would like a refund. I did not charge or buy anything from your store or website.

I also got this code and charged $16.82. I did make an online purchase just a few days ago, so I called Kohls to ask about this and this particular charge doesnt show up on their records... I remember I tried to apply for a Kohls card for a further discount, and in that form I was asked for SSN. When I tried to apply, I got the message that I wasn't approved (despite very good credit history), which was weird, but I didn't think much of it and stopped trying. In that form I didn't have to put my credit card#, only in my Kohls cart. I am wondering if this is how they (hackers) get access to your credit card.. and mask themselves as if it was a charge from KOHLs... or if it's KOHLs itself doing shady business!?

I have a charge on my visa from Kohls. Com. The charges are pending. I called your fraud department. JOKE. They cannot pull up an order number or cancel or anything using the Cc number used in Their system? They claim they only care about fraud done on a Kohls card because to them, the other is just a sale and your bank should refund the amount to you. I personally will never shop Kohls again and I will encourage my friends and everyone else to never shop there again. I am more than a $$

On Christmas Eve, 2016, I was charge $1112.50 and $1102.50 on my bank debit card for two rings at Kohl's #0 873. I did not make this purchase or authorize any one else to make this purchase. I called my bank and opened a fraudulent case. After their review, I will be given reversal of theses charges, which with taxes was $1300.05. The people that are involved with this are obviously very experience. Hopefully, they will get caught and put in jail where they belong.

Frad Charges are still happening as of 10/17/2016. My credit card company is helping me in this but don't want to post to much information. Same stories as above however.

Had a charge of 158.99 dated 05/01/16 from Kohls.com#0873 on my Capital One card. I disputed this and Kohls sent documentation that I made this charge to my account. They had my name wrong on the account and so was the email address. Item went to KY. I live in TN and have never lived in KY. Had to cancel card and get a new one. Kohls accused me of getting something and then not wanting to pay for it. Capital One is still investigating. In the mean time, the charge is still on my account. What a royal pain!

A charge of $69.38 was posted to my bank account at store #0873 on November 23, 2014 for a purchase which I did not make. No other charges have been made. I have notified my bank. I also called Kohl's for which they offered no assistance or interest. UGH, very frustrating.

This has to be associated with another app or profile somehow. I have a Kohl’s result card and first, don’t ever shop Kohl’s online and second, use my Kohl’s card for purchases at Kohl’s. So it was easy to see something was going on when a change for Kohl’s online hit my Chase credit card. What’s funny is that Chase sent me a text asking if I had just ordered dominos pizza, which I hadn’t, and when I went through changing all my passwords, Facebook said I was logged into a device located in Dallas, nope I’m on the other side of Texas! Anyway I only use this card for utility bills, chewy.com, bark box and ancestry......oh and match.com once about a month ago lol. Anyone else have those accounts in common?

My card was stolen and I cancelled it, but continue to see it used at this Kohls. I set up an alert at MasterCard and receive these notices via email: "Mastercard account ending in 6322 was used at WWW.KOHLS.COM #0873 in the amount of $36.88 on Sep 29 2019 without the use of the physical card.

A charge of $177.39 was posted to my bank account from www.kohls.com#087, this was not approved by me. I am working with my bank to get this removed. I have several other charges as well. This is identity theft.

I shop online at Kohls, and My card was charged with$45 from OH location. Thank God the store # was listed on my statement.

I live in AZ, so why would I be shopping in OH.??!!!!!! they just lost a customer.

I was charged 2x within hours of each other in the amount of $79.12 each for merchandise that I did not place with Kohl’s online. My bank account showed the charges were from a POS payment WWW.KOHLS.COM #0873 in Ohio. I notified customer service which told me they could not stop the merchandise in transit & to bring back to my local Kohl’s store for credit once I received delivery. This seemed somewhat out of place so I contacted the fraud department. The Kohl’s representative was more concerned about stopping the shipment & having merchandise sent back than identifying or explaining the root cause of the deceptive fraudulent practices at hand. I assumed they have not done or cannot do anything to stop this type of scheme??

I just had two fraudulent charges on my Visa - one for about $400 on 5/10/16, and the latest on 5/15/16 for www.khols.com, store 0873, also for about $400. I do not, nor have I ever, shopped at Khols, either in the store or online. I immediately called my bank and had the charges taken off, but I am infuriated that my card information was stolen and merchandise was bought. The best guess I have is that I had used that card at the Spring, TX Walmart and my card information was stolen then.

Kohl's did the same to me. Someone charged $1059.00 on my card I had stored on my phone. Called Kohl's ( man's voice was not American) I couldn't hardly understand him. I explained to him I obviously didn't place that order (2 Dyson humidifiers) I called with in 4 hours of the time it was ordered. He said nothing they could do about it . Just thought I'd call them 1st give them a heads up I didn't order it and I'm not paying for it . So Called bank money got my money refunded immediately. PNC still had to go through the dispute process very aggravating. Then I noticed when kohls.com put the money back in my account it said Ohio which is odd. Yes I do think they have some type of fraud set up. It also gave me 1000 Kohl's points. Lol. So while it was pending (had the money from my bank) I donated all there points to the little donation thing. I don't guess they liked that looked curiosity -1020 to next reward I enjoyed that part. Will never do business with Kohl's again.

A charge of $86.99 was made to my credit card at store #0873 on Nov. 17, 2014, for a purchase which I did not make. I have never had a transaction with this store. I take it that the store is in Ohio, where I have not been since 1975. I notice another person with the last name Grant has had a similar experience at the same store. Some hacked list of Grants?

CARD CREDIT --------WWW.KOHLS.COM #0873 MIDDLETOWN OH. Was how and "where" it said it was from. And I do not live in Ohio.

I had a charge on my Discover Card that I did not recognize as it was listed WWW.KOHLS.COM #0873 MIDDLETOWN OH. Upon calling Kohl's online customer service they indicated it was for a charge I made with Store pickup at a location in Illinois. So it must sometimes? be coded this way, I just had not recalled the specifics since I normally use Kohls charge cards.

Here we all go again. WWW.KOHLS.COM #0873 for $434.41. Happily, credit card company texted and emailed and declined the charge, but now I have to wait for a replacement card. Oh, yeah - I live a couple of thousand miles from Ohio and never shop at Kohls either at store or on line.

KOHLS store #0873 strikes again as just yesterday and today three charges have hit my account but I immediately called Kohls fraud dept. and they unbelievably have said that all 3 orders have shipped (I said Amazon would never ship before versifying paymen3 goes through) and one has already been delivered. they refused to identify this ship to location without a subpoena. the two other shipments are still in transit so they are going to try to turn them around. Obviously based on the number of posts here, this is on ongoing problem for years which they do nothing to prevent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For everyone's information on this chain of complaints: Kohl's "store #" 0873 is NOT a store. It is the location for the main warehouse for fulfilling Kohls.com online orders, located in Middletown, Ohio. I received this information from Kohl's this morning after someone stole my card # and attempted to purchase over $1400 in goods from Kohl's online.

I received a credit on my checking account for $9.73 but I’m not sure why. I called my bank to report this and customer service has never seen this before. I haven’t used Kohl’s.com in over a year or more. I ended up canceling my card so this won’t happen the other way around.

I took a phone call from Macy's today in Mason, Ohio.. she asked me if I had bought something online for $90? I said NO! I live in Nebraska! It was Macys.com#0129! The lady from Macy's told me she was going to cancel the item when I told her that it wasn't mine. Then I checked my credit card and there was another charge for $317.69 for Kohl's.com#0873! These 2 have to be related to one another... I called my credit card company and they immediately de-activated my credit card and are sending me a new one. I wonder if it has to do with Walmart because I had my debit card compromised in Mason, Ohio 2 years ago... This is terrible all the people that are being ripped off! Makes me mad!!

Credit card number stolen and purchase attempt at this store again!! Management train your cashiers to spot this!! ID people!!

Charge of $389.96 to my debit card. It was to WWW.KOHLS.COM #0873 MIDDLETOWN OH. I live in NC, so this isn't possible.

Kohl's 0873 charge alerted my cc's fraud dept for a $688 charge this morning. I'm in TX so hard to be in OH at the same time buying a ton of clothes or whatever. They need to be checking driver's license when they take charge cards there!

got about 8 charges totaling to ~8k.. They were all 598ish or 1600ish. Had to call and dispute. Not sure how these charges are not picked up by the fraud detection.

I got a charge on my debit card 12/5/18 for 93.00 from the same kohls #0873 I live in TN and that is in oh and I had placed a order with a legit kohls and picked up my order the same day at the kohls I always shop at but on 11/30/18 was the 1st time I ever ordered online from kohls and it's just weird that it happened less than a wk after my real order.... I am on a fixed income disability and raise my 4 yo grandson and this debit put my bank in negative and took what money I had in there

Attempted fraud on my card today, my bank declined the charge. Also received an email from Kohl's indicating my email address on my Kohls.com account was changed (if it helps, they used prayme.org as the extension). Called Kohl's and the rep confirmed there were no charges, he also deleted my Kohls.com account.

Can you help? What is this charge?
