FRONTIER ONBOARD DENVER CO

I am an investigator with a credit card company, frontier often delays the transactions for about a month. If you make a purchase with them, they wait to report the charge to your credit card company. why? not sure. This is an often reported fraud charge when not fraud. it shows Denver as that is where their payment processing is located, you do not have to be in Denver for it to show processed from Denver. This is a very frequent thing with companies, as you may make a purchase online in florida, (or small company that uses square), and the charge will show California, or in this case Denver. it is simply where they are based according to their credit profile.

A charge of 39.04 was posted on my Discover credit card: “Frontier onboard Denver Co” with a classification “Supermarkets.” I was not flying, I was not in Denver. This is a fraudulent charge.

For me, this charge was for an in-flight purchase that I'd made on a flight several weeks earlier. The confusion is that they wait so long to make the charge that one forgets that they bought the $3 can of soda in the first place.

Frontier charge for $18 posted one month after a $6 charge. Canceled credit card assumed it was fraud.

I have to say now I realize my charge was legit for a soda but I do have to say they have a HUE BAIT AND SWITCH DEAL with EVERYTHING!!! WHAT A RIP OFF!!! i have flown southwest and american before and I have NEVER seen such a rip off on EVERYTHING!!!!!

Same as above. Transaction for $19.40 posted on May 9th, as FRONTIER DENVER. I did make an on board purchase in April while on vacation. However I wasn't anywhere near Denver, nor was I flying. Hmmm...seems like Frontier airlines has a security issue. Somebody is catching their passengers credit card numbers and making periodic charges. First time I ever flew with Frontier. Well you live and learn.

I was in Cleveland Ohio working when this fraud charge was made on my credit card.
