I had the same thing happen to me. It is Identity Smart.I called and spoke with a man named Steven who explained everything. You need to call IDENTITY SMART at (888-270-6461). They said they would refund my money. I hope this helps you too.

I have been charged since April for both a Identitysmart and Peopleverified service that I cancelled the same day, yet according to the woman I spoke to at Identitysmart, that cancellation never happened, which I know did happened because I'd never agree to a recurring expense like that. I consider these people to be a fraud. I am supposed to be getting a notice of cancellation in my email.

I have a $19.99 charge on my credit card that was unsolicited And want it refunded please and want to be sure it is not billed in the future.

I just found this on my credit card, too!! Apparently its been on my account for TWO years!!!! I used the "free" credit check, which apparently there is FINE PRINT that signs you up for the charge and then charges you FOREVER until you catch them!!!

Beware of this company. Am reporting them to BBB and calling my attorney!

People Smart is a SCAM!! I used it several months ago to run a background check and cancelled it right after the check was run. Oddly enough, I got a new debit card from my bank soon after. Then I got an email saying they could not run my card through because it was declined. How did they get a hold of the new card number??
