PLN*RENTALCARS.COM

I thought this was a bogus charge, but it turns out to be legit. I reserved a rental car in Lebanon through Rhinocarhire.com. I forgot that I agreed to pay a deposit. Rhinocar didn't tell me the charge would appear from "PLN.RentalCars.com...". I freaked when I saw the name I didn't recognize. After I looked into it, it is the legit deposit amount from Rhinocars.

I did not rent a car from your company... You have charged me $286.49 for a car I did not rent. I have reported this to my credit card co.....

I booked through rentalcars.com and a charge from PLN showed up on my credit card 256.99 from PLN? When I arrived in Exeter, UK to pick up my rental car, they said no deposit was left by rentalcars.com. When I got home I looked up the details and they listed it as a car hire charge prepaid? What the hell is that? I had to pay the full amount to Enterprise in the UK and I have not received my 256.99 back from PLN or car rentals.com. PLN and carrentals.com are both UK companies and appear to be both in on scamming car rental customers. BE WARE of rental cars.com. I will be notifying all travels sites in US and UK to stay away from carrentals.com
