I was told that the car will be provided by Alamo who charged me a fee. Then PLN* RENTAL CAR. COM also charged my credit card $271.82

This charge appeared on my credit charge bill after I had been looking at rental car prices on rentalcars.com but did not authorize any payment and decided to go with another company. I reserved a car for July 28, 2019 from the website Booking.com and my card was charged $529.59. I need my money refunded.

I was charged by PLN*RENTALCARS COM $160 and then charged by Dollar rental a similar amount. They took the money that was supposed to be an advance payment/reservation for a car a week later. When I called the 866 number, it was non-working. Had to call my bank and cancel the debit card. If you see this charge on your statement, be prepared to spend time on the phone contesting it. Fraud.

WE did not charge a rent car with this company and I have never heard of them -SCAM

It looked like a scam to me but upon digging into it, it is legit. When you reserve a rental car in Europe, they put a $40 deposit to hold the reservation. If you look at the Booking details, it is clearly stated.

I rented a car from Dollar rental and this place charges me $189.28 for what? I did not authorize this charge. Why would I deal with a company in the UK to rent a car in the USA. Their phone # is disconnected that is on my Visa statement. See #here for 1-646-813-0122 called it and it is in Barcalonia and the girl Julia cannot see a transaction. Advised to send copy of charge to Reservationsrentalcar.com so the can locate the transaction. She said Dollar Rental should not of billed me. What I rented from Dollar rent a car. This is fraud definately.
