REDBOX *DVD RENTAL 866-733-2693

Charged 3.74 for DVD RENTAL OAKBROOK TER ILUS. Have not used Red box since 2015. Card has been shut off...

Can I check movie titles thru reference numbers?

Oakbrook ter il got charged for $3.24 September12,2019 i disputed charge. Canceled that card had new one on way. Just recieved another alert for $71.28. It was an attempt from new card. Contacted capital one they had to cancel new card and send me another. They tell me since the merchant accepted the first one while waiting for approval. They were able to use new card that had not been activated. The tell me i cannot block redbox. That i have to call redbox and ask them to block my account. The person at redbox was not impressive by all means ends up telling me to call my bank.... Hope this dies not continue to happen. Ice had this account for 14 years i would hate to have to close it. It gives me great credit score because of how long I've used it in good standing

my wife had a 3 charges from Redbox one month ago, filed a claim, got refunded, got a new card. One month later, 2 new charges on the new card.... we don't shop at any redbox. Most likely some high level fraud going on. My bank is blocking any future redbox transactions....

I got charged 65.XX for stuff I never rented. My bank is fighting it. I haven't rented from them since early December.I rented a game for my nephew on the 1st of December and returned it the next night. Now I have a 65.xx charge on my card. I'm pissed!!!!!

Where charge originated from? State and city?

The fraud has nothing to do with red box. It's a "test charge" for a thief to see which card numbers they bought by the thousands are still active, and if the owner pays attention. If the charge gets through they go on a spending spree later. These thieves used to use napster as well. Since they are running thousands of swipes from one location it would be a red flag if they were all for hundreds of dollars.

I also noticed an additional charge of $4.88, checked my bank statement they have been over charging me since the beginning of the year, over a hundred dollars in charges. Once I showed prof they haven’t returned my emails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haven’t used Redbox in over 10 years... 2 random small charges appear on my statement as “Redbox DVD Rental Oakbrook Ter Il.” Call immediately as fraud and I get credited back. I agree with a previous poster who said that scammers who have your info will charge a few small amounts to see if it will go through then go ahead and spend more elsewhere.

dont use redbox they charge your card when you havent even rented movies a month or longer.....
